This project is multifaceted, aiming to acquaint and train farmers in efficient irrigation methods to reduce water wastage for sustainable agriculture in dry regions. Main project components include Construction of Market Square at Noshki, Establishment of Dryland Research Station at Noshki, Construction of offices at Tehsil and Sub-Tehsil Level, Improvement of 325 watercourses, Construction of 265 Water Storage Tanks, Installation of trickle irrigation system on 200ha area, Installation of bubbler equipment on 200ha, Installation of 50 no. hand pumps and dugwells, Development of 200 demonstration sites for agriculture, Sailaba / Flood irrigation development at 200 locations, Provision of 500 diesel pump sets, Maintenance 15 no. Karezes, Green tunnels and Groundwater Survey Studies, Procurement of Agriculture Machinery and Equipment, Productivity Engancement Packages. 

Scope of Services

  • Formulate the overarching plan and design framework for the project’s implementation. 
  • Develop detailed designs and estimate costs for the project. 
  • Conduct thorough soil investigations for civil engineering aspects of the project. 
  • Procurement services for surveys and investigations required for project planning and execution. 
  • Undertake in-depth studies to assess groundwater availability and quality. 
  • Develop designs and install trickle irrigation systems for efficient water usage. 
  • Preparation of tender documents and prepare detailed drawings to facilitate the project execution phase. 
  • Assess potential contractors and evaluate bids to select suitable partners for project implementation. 
  • Supervise construction activities to ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards. 
  • Offering guidance, instruction, and aid to farmers in renting and acquiring Tools, Equipment, and Machinery to enhance productivity efficiently. 
  • Third-party validation of quantitative and qualitative aspects of project components. 
  • Introduce measures and technologies to enhance agricultural productivity within the project scope. 
  • Conduct training programs for farmers on modern agricultural practices and engage in community mobilization activities to garner support for the project.
