The construction of 200Km long Noukandi-Mashkhel-Panjgoor Road in Western Balochistan by the National Highway Authority (NHA) will enhance local infrastructure. This road will significantly enhance the commercial and tourist activities in the area. It will be an important link for the Reko Diq to the Gawadar sea port. It will link this are to the CEPEC and play important role in economic growth by providing employment opportunities to locals and reducing operating cost of vehicles. The project also includes a 3.0 km link between Chedgi and Pak-Iran Border. 

Scope of Services

Major scope of the Consultancy service if the Feasibility Study and Detailed Design which includes: 

  • Detailed topographic survey. 
  • Detailed soil investigation survey on the proposed alignment. 
  • Identification of quarry sites and construction material survey. 
  • Geotechnical Investigation survey for bridges and structures. 
  • Design of Toll Plazas. 
  • Geometric Design. 
  • Road furniture design including traffic signs and gantries. 
  • Hydrology & Hydraulic design of structures. 
  • Hydraulic Model Study (where required). 
  • Road side drain design. 
  • Structure Design. 
  • Horticulture and Landscaping. 
  • Preparation of EIA Report and obtaining NOC from concerned EPA. 
  • Preparation of Traffic Management Plan. 
  • Tender Documents, BOQ, Engineer’s Estimate PC-1. 
  • Stakeout of design alignment after approval for ground validation. 
  • Land acquisition plans using imageries, cadastral maps on GIS. 
  • Fixation of ROW markers when required by the Client. 
  • Training of NHA Engineers. 
  • Preparation of PC-1
